Sophie Arkun
Exercise Physiologist
Sophie has worked as an Exercise Physiologist for the last 4 years. She gained invaluable experience working in
regional Victoria in a multidisciplinary clinic for her first 2 years of practice.
Sophie is a patient-centred practitioner
and aims to make her clients feel welcomed, understood and looked after. She loves working with clients to develop
their goals and create achievable plans of action.
Area of expertise:
Sophie has experience working with a wide variety of people with a variety of conditions. Sophie has vast experience
with many chronic health conditions such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. While
Sophie enjoys working with people to improve their health and lifestyle she also has a passion for working with
people with disabilities. Sophie has experience and further education in the areas:

A bit about me:
"I am a very active person and love playing sport! I grew up playing netball, soccer and volleyball. While working
regionally in Victoria I decided to try footy and now I play for Norwood Football Club in the SANFLW league which
takes up most of my time outside of work. I am loving learning a new sport. I also live with my partner and our dog
and we enjoy going on walks and seeing friends and family."
